thanks! I hand roll almost everything. Here are examples where I used a roller: http://www.etsy.com/view_transaction.php?transaction_id=24573022
the big beads here: http://ny-image0.etsy.com/il_fullxfull.92359212.jpg
the tiny guys here: http://www.etsy.com/view_transaction.php?transaction_id=17365930
these were started with hand-rolled pieces, stuck together, then finished in a roller: http://ny-image3.etsy.com/il_fullxfull.84360411.jpg
I find it's harder to figure out exactly how much clay fits in the roller than to just do them by hand. The roller sometimes "unrolls" them as well and then the bead falls apart.
These are gorgeous! I'm totally digging your beads. Do you use bead rollers or hand form your beads?
ReplyDeletethanks!
