Back from the land of the Scots!

I took bunches of photos of people, places, and things in Scotland. Many will become drawings for my next Sketchbook project. Here are a few of my favorites...

My favorite picture of the whole trip and it was taken with the camera on my phone!

Looking across the park to Waverly Bridge and another one beyond that.

View from the top of Edinburgh Castle.

Robert the Bruce outside Stirling Castle. The William Wallace Memorial is  the distance.

Guide at Stirling Castle

Loch Ness

Looking up at Arthur's Seat. We walked to the top...only took about an hour up.
There's a tiny man in the center of the picture to give you idea of scale.
There was moss everywhere!

Lovely little buds.

Reflections in store windows.
Will become a colored pencil drawing.

Bar Number 27 in Inverness
Will become a colored pencil drawing.

Lunch at Element.
Will become a colored pencil drawing.

Elephant Bar, Edinburgh
Will become a colored pencil drawing in my next Sketchbook Project
Swans and old ruins below Arthur's Seat

Art All Night: My favorite artworks

The only time I could squeeze in a visit to Art All Night was at 8:15 a.m. Sunday, so that's when I went.  There were quite a variety of media represented. Mine was the only obvious polymer clay item...though not to say there couldn't have been polymer in some of the 3D items.
Here are my favorite items from the show, in no particular order. Each is followed by the tag that accompanied it and if I could find a link to the artist, I added it in the caption.

Scott NIcklos works with me. He made this image in Photoshop and  had it printed on  metal. It's big...about 36" tall.

And there's my little  pink and green polymer piece -- you can see it better here:
