Bead Soup Blog Party Reveal!

My partner, Raida Disbrow sent me lovely glass beads in one of my favorite combinations, black and aqua blue. I don't usually use ribbon so having it in my package of goodies was a nice change of pace for me.

First, you can look at my "sneak preview" photos if you missed them.

Another close up...I added the green stones, light blue acrylic, and the large black seed beads:

And the whole shebang on my person...

  2. I love Raida's lampwork! She must have made these just for you because her colors are usually very earth-toned. What a great piece. I love how you strung the glass beads among the double row of seed beads. Really - the colors look just like some of your own beads! This is a beauty.

  35. This is so cool! I don't use ribbon either, always afraid that it will fray. It looks as if you addressed that potential though by putting the ends inside the cones...good idea.

  38. I love that you've been making big, long, dramatic pieces. I was inspired by your long piece from the "box" challenge to go longer with my design this time. It's hard for me to go with something other than short and easy. :)
    Take care!
